Cloonmore Pottery Delicate clay votive candle holder from Cloonmore Pottery near Carrowmoreknock, Rosscahill, Co. Galway. Lovely light sea mist green glaze inside and out. Attractive crackle effect in the glaze. Rice was added to the clay before firing. If you enjoy handmade jewellery from Ireland, I would highly recommend a piece from O’Neill’s Pottery shop on the Grounds of Bunratty Castle.  I received the one photographed in this review as a gift and I love it.  The disk is clay with an attractive swirl design.  It has a bronze-like glaze on the front highlighting the design.
